Testing Services for Digital Transformation in Banking

This document is a technical report detailing the testing services provided for a major bank in Saudi Arabia during its digital transformation and migration initiatives. The report outlines the need for an Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) partner to ensure secure, compliant, and defect-free rollouts of the bank's applications. A comprehensive testing framework was established, which included over 10,000 reusable test cases for Core Banking, 6,000 for Digital & Channels, 1,500 for Retail Loans, and 800 for Payments. The testing services covered end-to-end testing for all core business applications, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Additionally, a regression automation test pack was created with over 5,000 scripts. The report highlights the outcomes of these testing services, including enhanced business and customer relationships, a defect rate of less than 1% in the post-production environment, and a significant increase in test coverage and throughput through test automation.
