This document is a technical report detailing the implementation of the IVU.suite for the MVV (Munich transport and tariff association). The primary objective of the project was to establish a centralized system for real-time data collection and electronic fare management across multiple transport operators. The report outlines the initial situation where many operators lacked specialized IT support, leading to inefficiencies in providing real-time passenger information and fare management. The solution involved the deployment of the IVU.fleet integration system, which collects data from various transport operators and consolidates it for distribution to other systems. Additionally, IVU.fare was implemented to facilitate centralized tariff management and secure sales tracking. The outcome of this integration has significantly improved the quality of services provided to passengers, enabling real-time information access and streamlined operational processes for transport operators. This advancement also lays the groundwork for future enhancements, including e-ticketing capabilities.
