Multi-Tenant Fleet Management and Ticketing System

This document is a case study detailing the implementation of a multi-tenant fleet management and ticketing system by IVU Traffic Technologies for the transport association of Vorarlberg (VVV). The objective was to standardize operational processes across 26 bus and train operators, ensuring uniform fleet management and real-time passenger information. The VVV sought a client-capable standard system to monitor vehicle locations and manage disruptions effectively. The chosen solution, IVU.suite, integrates various products such as IVU.fleet, IVU.cockpit, and IVU.ticket.box, facilitating communication between the central supplier tenant and individual transport operators. The system allows for real-time data transmission, enabling efficient management of fleet operations and ticket sales. Since its implementation in 2020, the system has improved operational efficiency and enhanced the attractiveness of public transport in Vorarlberg, providing passengers with consistent real-time information and a streamlined ticketing process.
