Smart Packaging Auto Replenishment Case Study

This case study details the development of a Smart Packaging Auto Replenishment solution by Jabil Software Services (JSS) for the Consumer Packaged Goods sector. The objective was to create an IoT-enabled cloud-based management platform and mobile application that facilitates automated ordering and enhances consumer engagement. The solution incorporates embedded sensor technology to monitor product freshness and enable auto replenishment. Key components include real-time data communication between IoT sensors and cloud services, a mobile app for consumers, and web dashboards for managing services. The project was executed using an Agile methodology over five months, involving a dedicated team of nine professionals. Deliverables included a fully configurable cloud application, mobile apps for iOS and Android, and comprehensive documentation. The platform aims to provide a customizable and integrated solution for smart packaging, ultimately improving the consumer experience and enabling data-driven insights for companies.
