This case study outlines a strategic approach employed by a hotel to enhance corporate travel revenue in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. The hotel's primary challenge was to identify and engage corporate accounts that could provide substantial room nights, which were crucial for meeting revenue targets. To address this, the hotel utilized Kalibri data to analyze emerging corporate travel patterns and behaviors. The focus was on nurturing relationships with key accounts likely to contribute over 200 room nights. The strategic initiative successfully redirected 1,114 room nights to the hotel, achieving an average daily rate of $123.29, resulting in a total revenue increase of $137,345. This case study documents the effectiveness of the hotel’s targeted engagement strategies and emphasizes the importance of data analysis in shaping strategic decisions within the corporate travel sector.
