Military Communications Security Enhancement Case Study

This case study outlines the collaboration between a federal agency and Keysight Technologies to enhance military communications security. The agency, responsible for implementing defense policy across armed services, aimed to secure email communications and monitor application traffic. Key issues included the need for heightened security on communications with defense partners and visibility into encrypted traffic over non-standard ports. The agency sought a 'Gateway Service' for inline security, which led to the implementation of three Network Packet Brokers (NPB) with AppStack technology.
