This technical report evaluates the effectiveness of MAP Accelerator, a web-based learning platform designed to enhance mathematics instruction using MAP Growth test results. The study analyzes data from the 2021-2022 school year, revealing that students who engaged with MAP Accelerator for over 30 minutes per week exceeded growth projections by 26% to 38%. The report also compares student performance year-over-year, indicating that those who increased their usage of the platform saw corresponding improvements in their achievement growth. The findings are consistent across various demographic subgroups, suggesting that MAP Accelerator positively influences student learning outcomes. Despite the promising results, the report notes limitations in establishing a causal relationship due to the absence of a randomized experimental design. The analysis employs mixed-effect regression and fixed-effect ordinary least squares to control for confounding variables, reinforcing the association between MAP Accelerator usage and enhanced student performance in mathematics.
