Workday Implementation Case Study at Rubrik

This case study outlines the implementation of Workday at Rubrik, which began in 2018 and evolved through 2023. The objective was to streamline People business processes across multiple countries, aiming for efficiency by allowing managers, employees, and administrative teams to complete tasks with minimal interaction with the People Team. The process involved 16 workshops conducted by Rubrik and Kognitiv with Center of Excellence (COE) leads to analyze transaction requirements, focusing on high-volume transactions with significant value-added potential. Feedback from COEs was collected to assess business impact and effort for implementation. The People Technology Team estimated the necessary resources for building, configuring, testing, and launching transactions while identifying change management requirements. The case study also discusses the development of customized report dashboards for various user roles, promoting self-service capabilities, and enhancing operational efficiency and employee engagement. The collaboration resulted in improved productivity and job satisfaction, demonstrating the effectiveness of the implemented strategies.
