Data and Insights Transformation Implementation Guide

This document is a guide detailing the implementation of a data and insights transformation for a major hospitality client. The objective of the engagement was to improve data quality and accessibility, enabling the client to make informed, evidence-based decisions as they expanded their property portfolio. LABUR's Advisory Practice first assessed the existing data structure and created a transformation strategy. Following this, a project team was assembled, including modelers, database administrators, and developers, to execute the tactical implementation phase. The team developed a new data model that could scale with business growth, established quality and governance processes, and migrated data to a new cloud platform. The implementation adhered to industry best practices for data architecture, processing, team roles, and governance, resulting in reliable and easily accessible data for the client.
