Canadian Attitudes Toward Alberta-British Columbia Pipeline

This report presents the results of an online survey conducted among Canadians regarding their attitudes toward the Alberta-British Columbia pipeline project. The survey was conducted from December 5 to December 7, 2025, with a sample size of 1,548 respondents aged 18 and older. The report details various aspects of public opinion, revealing that 50% of Canadians support the proposed bitumen pipeline, while 17% oppose it, and 20% remain neutral. It highlights the significance of the pipeline for Canada's economic future, with 45% of respondents considering it important. The report also documents confidence levels regarding the responsible development of the pipeline, indicating that over half of Canadians believe it can be built while respecting governance and environmental standards. Additionally, the survey emphasizes the importance of Indigenous community support before construction begins, with 68% of respondents viewing it as essential.
