This report presents the findings of an online survey conducted among 1,518 Canadians aged 18 and older regarding their use, attitudes, and feelings towards artificial intelligence (AI). The data was collected from August 22 to August 25, 2025, and the results were weighted to ensure a representative sample of the Canadian population. The survey reveals that 57% of Canadians have used an AI tool, with younger individuals aged 18-34 leading in usage rates. Satisfaction with AI tools is notably high, with 75% of users rating their experiences as good or excellent. The report also highlights the divided opinions among Canadians about AI's societal impact, with 34% viewing it positively and 36% negatively. Concerns regarding privacy, dependency, and job security are prevalent, with 85% of respondents supporting government regulation of AI. The report concludes by outlining areas where Canadians expect AI to improve, such as everyday convenience and workplace productivity.
