One Post Office Square Security System Overhaul

This case study details the comprehensive security system overhaul at One Post Office Square, a commercial real estate property managed by Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Boston, Massachusetts. The project aimed to replace an outdated access control system with a modern solution that supports mobile access and enhances tenant experience. JLL collaborated with Advanced Data Risk Management (ADRM) for the assessment and design of the new security system, which was installed by BCM Controls. The LenelS2 OnGuard platform was selected for its open architecture, allowing integration with the BlueDiamond mobile credentialing system and the Cohesion app, which provides tenants with a seamless experience. The upgraded system includes features such as visitor management, video monitoring, and smart elevator integration. The renovation has resulted in a LEED Level 4 Gold certification and has been recognized with the Elliot A. Boxerbaum Memorial Security Design Project of the Year Award, highlighting its innovative approach to security and tenant experience.
