Food Systems Resilience Measurement Tool Overview

This document is a guide that presents the Food Systems Resilience Measurement Tool developed in Ethiopia by LINC in collaboration with TANGO International, with funding from USAID. The tool aims to assist stakeholders in monitoring and understanding the impacts of food aid programming across various projects and geographical areas. It categorizes food systems resilience projects into four types: household-focused, sector/actor-focused, systemic/macro-level, and context and shock monitoring. Each category has distinct objectives and beneficiaries but contributes to a unified measurement framework. The document outlines the framework's components, including the definitions of shocks and capacities, which are essential for analyzing food systems resilience. Additionally, it discusses the indicators for monitoring and evaluation, emphasizing the importance of tailored approaches based on project types.
