AI Integration in Asset Management Firms Study

This report presents the findings of a global study on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in asset management firms, conducted by Linedata in collaboration with Global Fund Media. The study reveals that 36% of companies are currently utilizing AI, while 37% plan to expand its use. The report outlines that 46% of firms are developing their AI capabilities in-house, and 40% are adopting a hybrid approach that combines internal resources with external partnerships. Key challenges identified include data quality and maintenance, understanding costs, and accessing AI expertise. The report also discusses the current state of AI adoption, noting that 32% of firms have not yet started their AI journey, and 33% are in the experimentation phase. Popular applications of Generative AI include document synthesis and data extraction.
