Public Portal Transformation for KSA's IsDB

This technical report details the transformation of the public portal for the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in Saudi Arabia, executed by Link Development. The objective was to create a public interface that aligns with IsDB's vision and mission. The portal was developed using Drupal and hosted on AWS, ensuring the integrity of various functionalities including information services, interactive maps, and multimedia content. Link Development employed multiple AWS services such as EC2, Amazon Aurora, and CloudFront to facilitate a seamless and sustainable hosting environment. The report outlines the implementation of a comprehensive disaster recovery strategy, automatic backups, and monitoring systems to meet IsDB's requirements for high availability and scalability. Furthermore, it discusses the benefits of cost optimization, resource management flexibility, and rapid deployment capabilities achieved through the AWS infrastructure. The project ultimately aimed to enhance IsDB's operations and support its mission of promoting sustainable development.
