My B-Pathway Online Portal for Breast Cancer Patients

This document is a case study detailing the development and implementation of 'My B-Pathway', an innovative online portal designed for breast cancer patients by the Dutch Breast Cancer Association in collaboration with LOGEX Patient Engagement. The portal aims to guide patients through their treatment journey by providing relevant, stage-specific information and support for making informed choices. It addresses the challenge of overwhelming information faced by patients by offering personalized counseling and utilizing Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) questionnaires to monitor emotional and physical states. The case study outlines the extensive testing of the portal for functionality and understandability, as well as promotional efforts to raise awareness among patients and healthcare providers. The results indicate that over 160 patients are currently using the portal, which has improved the quality of care by tailoring treatment to individual needs. Future plans include linking the portal with hospital data for enhanced accessibility and continued development.
