Secure Pull Printing Solution for Social Media Company

This case study details the implementation of a secure pull printing solution for a global social media company with over 75,000 employees. The organization faced challenges in managing sensitive customer data, particularly with a flexible staffing approach that involved temporary contracts. To enhance data security, the company issued daily ID badges that provided access to applications and print devices. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the IT department prioritized improving their print infrastructure. An RFP was issued for a scalable and fault-tolerant print solution, leading to the selection of the MFPsecure®/Print solution from LRS. The integration of this software allowed employees to print securely and retrieve documents using their ID badges. The solution minimized IT intervention and provided an intuitive interface for users to manage their print tasks.
