This case study details how National University implemented the Experiential Learning Cloud to centralize the management of clinical field placements for over 400 counseling students. Prior to this implementation, the university relied on a disjointed system of spreadsheets and manual processes, which created significant challenges in tracking student placements and managing data. Faculty and administrators faced difficulties in accessing real-time information about student progress, leading to inefficiencies and blind spots in monitoring students' training journeys. The introduction of the Experiential Learning Cloud transformed these operations by providing a single source of truth, allowing for immediate access to student data and reports. This shift not only improved coordination among faculty and staff but also empowered students to take ownership of their training by tracking their progress independently. The case study highlights the positive impact of this centralized system on the university's ability to proactively support students and foster innovation in their clinical training programs.
