Transformation of Counselor Education Program at Central Michigan University

This case study outlines the transformation of Central Michigan University's Counselor Education Program through the implementation of Experiential Learning Cloud. The program, which serves over 14,000 students and offers more than 200 academic programs, faced challenges with its previous assessment software that hindered efficiency and required excessive manual effort. Program Director Sheri Pickover recognized the need for a more adaptable solution to support the program's growth. After evaluating Experiential Learning Cloud, she found it to be user-friendly, significantly reducing administrative burdens and enhancing data accuracy. The platform streamlined workflows, allowing tasks that previously took hours to be completed in 30 to 45 minutes, resulting in a 75% reduction in manual processes. The intuitive design facilitates access for administrators, faculty, and students, ensuring effective communication and support. The case study highlights the positive impact of the new system on the program's operations and student success.
