This case study details the implementation of Magnet Forensics Training within the Cambridgeshire Constabulary's cybercrime unit, which consists of four police officers responsible for various digital investigations. The unit has adopted Magnet AXIOM as their primary tool for digital forensics, addressing the increasing challenges posed by cybercrime and the backlog of cases due to the influx of digital evidence. Detective Constable Andrew McKeane, a member of the unit, utilized a Magnet Training Annual Pass to enroll in multiple AXIOM training courses, enhancing his investigative skills and knowledge of the software. The training included both in-person and virtual classes, allowing for flexible learning opportunities. As a result of the training, the team has improved their understanding of forensic best practices, facilitated better knowledge sharing, and expedited their case processing. The case study emphasizes the positive impact of the training on the unit's operational efficiency and effectiveness in handling cybercrime investigations.
