This report presents the findings from the Mars Global Pet Parent Study, which was conducted by IPSOS on behalf of Mars, Incorporated. The study surveyed over 20,000 pet owners and non-owners across 20 countries to explore the impact of pets on people's lives. The survey aimed to provide insights into the evolving needs of pet parents, highlighting trends in pet ownership and the emotional connections between owners and their pets. The report outlines the demographics of pet owners, noting a significant presence of younger generations, particularly Generation Z and Millennials, who view their pets as essential companions.
