This report details the findings of a study conducted by the Larimer County Works Program, which is a local implementation of the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. The objective of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of integrating Vroom, a resource aimed at enhancing early childhood development, into TANF service delivery. The study tested two approaches for introducing Vroom to newly enrolled TANF participants. One approach involved a coach-led introduction that encouraged participants to set parenting goals using Vroom, while the other provided general information about the resource. Results indicated that participants who received the coach-led introduction showed significantly higher engagement with Vroom and reported more frequent use of the resource. Additionally, this group experienced improved engagement with the TANF program itself, suggesting that intentional strategies for introducing resources like Vroom can enhance participant experiences and program outcomes.
