Access Control Case Study for Time-Attendance

This case study details the implementation of an access control solution for a large workforce at a critical energy facility in Mumbai, India. The objective was to modernize workforce access by securely migrating over 33,000 users across 71 access points without disrupting daily operations. The partnership with Forestlinc Tech Pvt. Ltd. facilitated the deployment of COSEC ARGO FACE terminals, ensuring high-speed authentication and compliance with stringent security standards and Government of India regulations. The challenges included transitioning a vast number of user credentials within a limited maintenance window while ensuring zero operational downtime. The solution involved strategic planning and seamless integration with existing infrastructure, resulting in enhanced security and a centralized access control system. The successful overnight migration demonstrated the effectiveness of the approach, allowing for uninterrupted business continuity and supporting secure workforce movement across the facility.
