This case study details the implementation of a Unified Communication System at a leading cancer research and treatment institute in India. The institute, recognized for its advanced cancer care, faced challenges with its legacy communication infrastructure, requiring a scalable solution that ensures secure communication and integrates seamlessly with existing systems. Matrix Telecom was tasked with delivering a solution that included the Matrix Embedded IP-PBX Server and VoIP-PRI gateways. The integration allowed for enhanced connectivity across over 300 third-party IP phones, optimizing internal communication and supporting future growth. Key results included improved decision-making and operational efficiency, as well as a scalable system that can accommodate up to 2100 users. The deployment addressed the institute's core challenges, enabling a modern communication infrastructure while maintaining compatibility with legacy systems. This case study illustrates the successful transition from outdated technology to a robust VoIP solution, highlighting the importance of adaptability in healthcare communication.
