This document is a case study detailing the deployment of the MyCity Adaptive signal control system by SWARCO McCain in the City of Santee, California. The objective of the project was to enhance travel times along Mission Gorge Road, a key corridor experiencing heavy congestion. The city implemented the MyCity Adaptive system at nine intersections, utilizing 2070LX controllers and Omni eX® Intersection Control Software to enable real-time adaptive signal timing adjustments. The study presents a comparison of travel times before and after the system's implementation, highlighting measurable improvements in traffic flow. Results indicated that westbound traffic experienced gradual enhancements throughout the day, with significant boosts during evening hours. Eastbound traffic showed even greater improvements during both morning and evening peak times. The findings confirm that the adaptive signal upgrades effectively reduced delays and congestion along the corridor, thereby improving overall travel efficiency for the City of Santee.
