Front Access Sign Installation Project in Albuquerque

This document is a case study detailing the installation of Front Access Signs by SWARCO Signs in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The project commenced in 2023 and has been operational for over a year, utilizing the existing power infrastructure without requiring upgrades. The signs feature a resolution of 64 rows by 256 columns, measuring 62 inches by 214 inches with a 20mm pitch, capable of displaying 12 characters per line, each 18 inches tall. The signs provide full-color RGB capabilities and deliver real-time updates on road conditions and traffic safety. The city of Albuquerque, facing heavy traffic congestion and hazardous conditions, prioritized the upgrade of aging signage to enhance roadway safety. The New Mexico Department of Transportation identified specific locations for the installation, addressing the need for improved visibility and functionality of traffic signs. The benefits include clear visibility from various angles and reduced glare, contributing to safer driving conditions.
