McCain ATC Cabinet Deployment in Cedar Park Texas

This document is a case study detailing the deployment of McCain ATC Cabinets in Cedar Park, Texas. The city initially installed the cabinets in 2014, becoming the first in the U.S. to implement McCain ATC Cabinets at all signalized intersections. The objective was to meet current demands while preparing for future technologies, particularly in relation to automated signal performance and connected vehicle technology. By 2022, all 56 intersections in Cedar Park had been upgraded to McCain ATC Cabinets, which are equipped with the McCain ATC eX® 2070 Controller and the Omni eX® Intersection Control Software. The case study outlines the benefits of these cabinets, including their ability to combine advanced features suitable for modern LED intersections and their readiness to address future challenges posed by connected and autonomous vehicles.
