This document is a case study detailing the deployment of SWARCO McCain's MyCity Adaptive and MyCity Signal Performance Measures (SPM) in the City of Petaluma. The objective of the project was to optimize real-time traffic responsiveness and enhance data-driven performance monitoring. The city previously utilized MyCity Traffic Management System, McCain 2070LX Controllers, and Omni eX Intersection Control Software, which facilitated seamless integration of the new systems. The project involved two days of onsite activation support, one day of staff training, and ongoing maintenance services. Petaluma faced persistent congestion due to its limited roadway network, particularly on the Washington Street corridor. The new system automatically adjusts to changing traffic conditions, significantly reducing congestion and eliminating public complaints for the first time in years. The collaboration between SWARCO McCain and the City of Petaluma was essential in achieving project milestones and ensuring the reliability of the traffic management system.
