Traffic Management System Upgrade in Nassau

This document is a technical report detailing the upgrade of traffic management systems in Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas, in partnership with the Government of the Bahamas, Ministry of Works and Utilities. The project involves the implementation of SWARCO McCain's ATC eX NEMA Traffic Controllers and OMNI eX Intersection Control Software across eighty intersections. The upgrade aims to enhance traffic flow and detection through the conversion from legacy controllers to advanced systems, which include Miovision video detection cameras. The report outlines the improvements in reliability, functionality, and detection capabilities of the intersections, which are expected to yield better traffic flow and enable future enhancements. Additionally, the MyCity TMS software is introduced to manage and optimize traffic flow, collect and analyze data, and improve the overall driving experience while reducing management costs. The document concludes with a description of the next steps for further integration and optimization of the traffic network.
