Provider Data Management System Expansion for MediGold

This document is a case study detailing the collaboration between MediGold and Mediant Health Resources for the expansion of MediGold's AMISYS Advance Provider Data Management and Claims system. MediGold, a Medicare Advantage organization, sought to rapidly expand its operations due to strategic growth opportunities. The project faced challenges due to an accelerated timeline, necessitating the onboarding of additional resources. Mediant Health Resources was selected for its expertise in AMISYS Advance and its understanding of the healthcare sector. The case study outlines how Mediant provided a team of experienced consultants who successfully completed the project in three months, significantly ahead of the original five-month schedule. The results included the installation of approximately 5,000 individual providers into the system, meeting quality targets, and ultimately positioning MediGold for successful strategic expansion, which allowed them to double their membership. The document also highlights the effective project management and business relationships established during the project.
