Small Abattoir Grant Fund Project Management Case Study

This case study outlines the project management support provided for the Small Abattoir Grant Fund, initiated by the UK government in February 2023. The fund aims to assist smaller abattoirs in England by offering grants for capital items that enhance productivity, utilize innovative technology, improve animal health and welfare, and add value to processed products. The project management team from Methods was engaged to establish a governance framework and project management infrastructure due to the Defra Policy team's lack of prior experience in this area.
