This research report investigates consumer preferences between CVS and Walgreens, focusing on various aspects of shopping experiences at these drugstores. The study aims to determine which store is favored for quick shopping trips and prescription pickups, as well as the effectiveness of loyalty and coupon programs. Utilizing the Surveys On The Go® platform, MFour conducted surveys with a sample size of 200 national consumers aged 18 and older. The findings reveal that CVS is preferred for overall shopping experiences, including saving money and variety, while Walgreens is favored for quick purchases and vitamins. Additionally, CVS leads in rewards and coupon programs, while Walgreens excels in photo services. The report highlights consumer desires for more discounts and coupons through mobile apps, indicating a trend towards enhanced customer engagement in the drugstore sector.
