This case study examines the effectiveness of out-of-home advertising for a pet food brand, focusing on a specific billboard campaign. The objective was to measure brand lift and purchase intent among consumers exposed to the advertisement in real time. Utilizing Surveys On The Go® (SOTG), the largest consumer panel in the nation, the study triggered surveys as consumers drove by the billboard. Results indicated that 28% of the exposed group recalled seeing the campaign, with the strongest recall among men purchasing dog food. The ad's design, featuring bold colors and a puppy, contributed to its visibility. Additionally, 25% of respondents selected the brand based on perceived value, and the ad increased purchase consideration among non-buyers. MFour's approach integrates validated consumer data and insights through its platform, addressing data fraud and commoditization in research. The findings highlight the importance of real-time consumer feedback in evaluating advertising effectiveness.
