This case study details the methodology and results of a research project focused on a new snack product. The study begins by outlining the initial objective of understanding consumer behavior both in-store and at home. Researchers employed the Surveys On The Go® app to gather real-time feedback from natural purchasers as they interacted with the product in a retail environment. The study presents findings from three phases of evaluation: in-store, post-checkout, and at-home assessments. Key results indicate that 85% of participants had a positive perception of the snack, with significant percentages noting ease of finding the product and affordability. After purchasing, many shoppers recognized the product's uniqueness and expressed a likelihood to repurchase, with 92% indicating they would buy it again. The case study emphasizes MFour's use of validated consumer data to enhance research accuracy and improve brand loyalty through informed decision-making.
