Smart Sleeve for iPhone with Dual SIM Functionality

This case study presents Mistral's design and development of a smart accessory for iPhones that enables Dual SIM functionality. The study outlines the challenges faced due to the inherent limitations of iPhones in supporting dual SIM features compared to Android devices. The Smart-sleeve accessory not only allows for the use of two SIM cards but also provides hotspot connectivity and functions as a power bank for the iPhone. The customer aimed to minimize costs while ensuring safety and user-friendliness. Mistral's innovative design approach included using the iPhone's existing microphone and speaker to reduce costs. The smart-sleeve is equipped with a 1700 mAh battery, BLE technology for low energy communication, and an intuitive iOS application that facilitates seamless switching between SIM cards. The study also details the technical specifications, including the AM335x processor and the challenges encountered during the design process, such as optimizing antenna placement. Overall, the project highlights Mistral's capability to deliver a functional and efficient product to market quickly.
