This case study outlines the significant advancements made in cybersecurity by a major metropolitan area through the adoption of The MixMode Platform. Faced with a sophisticated cyberattack from foreign adversaries, the city recognized critical gaps in its threat detection capabilities. The implementation of The MixMode Platform, which utilizes advanced artificial intelligence, has led to notable improvements in the city's security posture. The platform has saved the security team approximately $5 million in investigation hours, enhanced threat detection capabilities, and reduced false positives significantly. The city was able to identify and investigate over 31,000 elevated cyber threats and contain more than 102,000 connections from high-risk regions, thereby protecting critical infrastructure and citizen data from potential cyberattacks. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the platform in enabling the security team to focus on strategic initiatives and proactively defend against emerging threats.
