Royal Agricultural Society Event Management Case Study

This case study outlines the implementation of Momentus by the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales (RAS) during the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Australia's largest annual ticketed event. Following the event's cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic, RAS successfully hosted the event in April 2021, attracting over 800,000 visitors. The study details the challenges faced by RAS in managing a large-scale event with over 500 paid employees and 350 volunteers. To address these challenges, RAS sought a streamlined and user-friendly system. The Momentus platform facilitated the Entertainment Performer Contracting process through an online portal, significantly reducing the time spent on contract management and administrative tasks. Additionally, the implementation of self-service portals for carpark ticketing minimized in-person applications and follow-ups, ultimately saving considerable man-hours and improving overall event organization and performance reporting.
