This case study details the implementation of Mongoose’s platform at McLennan Community College (MCC) to improve student engagement and communication. Before adopting Mongoose, MCC faced challenges in effectively reaching students through email, which often went unread, particularly during the recruitment and admissions processes. The college required a solution that could be easily integrated with existing systems and utilized by multiple departments. Mongoose’s platform allowed MCC to streamline communication, enabling personalized interactions with students. The integration with MCC’s CRM facilitated seamless data flow, making it user-friendly for staff across 28 teams. The case study outlines how Mongoose has transformed communication strategies, leading to increased student engagement, with notable outcomes such as a 12% reply rate from over 8,000 students reached. The platform has also automated routine inquiries, enhancing efficiency and allowing staff to focus on complex student needs. Future plans include expanding Mongoose’s functionalities to better serve international students and involve faculty in direct communication with students.
