Téléverbier Deploys MOTOTRBO Capacity Plus System

This case study details the deployment of a MOTOTRBO Capacity Plus multi-site communication system by Téléverbier SA, the largest ski lift company in French-speaking Switzerland. The company operates across three ski resorts and requires reliable communication for its employees who manage piste grooming, security, and lift operations in a vast mountainous area. The previous analogue system was insufficient for their needs, prompting the installation of eight repeaters to enhance communication capacity and coverage. The new system allows for four simultaneous communication paths, improving safety and efficiency for workers. Features such as GPS tracking and the Man Down safety feature are activated on most radios, enabling precise location tracking and emergency alerts. The case study outlines the benefits of the new system, including reliable coverage across 203 km of pistes, improved operational efficiency, and robust radios designed for harsh mountain conditions. The collaboration with Sigmacom Télécom, a long-term partner, was crucial in implementing this solution.
