This case study outlines the challenges faced by The MBS Group in managing their studio and stage scheduling processes. The operations division was previously reliant on manual scheduling through Excel spreadsheets, which resulted in inefficiencies and a lack of visibility among users. To address these issues, The MBS Group sought a more effective solution that would enhance collaboration and streamline scheduling. They engaged Silverline to implement CalendarAnything, which provided a visual calendar solution integrated with Salesforce. The new system allows for real-time tracking of studio occupancy and production schedules, enabling better communication among studios. Features such as Gantt views, conditional coloring, and integration with Conga have improved the overall scheduling process. The implementation of Salesforce Communities has also allowed non-Salesforce users to access scheduling information, fostering a more collaborative environment. The ongoing partnership with Silverline aims to further enhance the system's capabilities, making it more efficient and user-friendly.
