This case study details the implementation of Adlumin's Security Operations Platform by the Tooele County School District to enhance security for its 19,000 students and 2,600 employees across 27 schools in Southwest Utah. The district faced challenges in centralizing data, simplifying alert monitoring, and expanding its security team’s resources affordably. Adlumin's platform has significantly reduced the time required to close support tickets, with closures now possible in as little as 5 minutes and potential vulnerabilities triaged in seconds. The integration of Adlumin’s Google Workspace has provided greater visibility into alerts, accounting for two-thirds of them, and has automated security workflows to quickly identify and address suspicious user actions. The platform's Continuous Vulnerability Management has minimized the window of opportunity for cybercriminals by ensuring rapid response times. Overall, the implementation has improved the district's security posture and operational efficiency, allowing for a more proactive approach to cybersecurity.
