McCollister’s Global Services Case Study

This case study examines the operational improvements at McCollister’s Global Services, Inc., a specialized transportation provider. The company faced significant challenges with labeling errors in their warehouse operations, which were identified during an internal review. These errors led to substantial losses and inefficiencies, prompting the need for a new labeling solution. After consulting with their technology provider, Integrated Productivity Systems (IPSi), McCollister’s implemented Newcastle Systems' mobile power workstations. This solution replaced central fulfillment stations, allowing employees to print labels directly at the point of need, which significantly improved labeling accuracy and productivity.
