This case study details the storage challenges faced by the Corona-Norco Unified School District (CNUSD) and their solution using the Nexsan E60 storage system. CNUSD, the largest school district in Riverside County, needed to address growing data volumes and high costs associated with their existing storage infrastructure. The district sought a more efficient iSCSI-based solution that would optimize rack space and reduce power consumption while ensuring reliable data storage for critical applications. The Nexsan E60 was selected for its high density, performance, and energy efficiency, allowing CNUSD to consolidate production data and enhance their data protection strategy. The implementation of the E60 system enabled the district to support additional surveillance cameras, ensuring safety for students while managing significant data retention needs. The case study highlights the successful deployment and the positive impact of the Nexsan E60 on CNUSD's storage capabilities and operational efficiency.
