This case study details the challenges faced by a supply chain organization in managing 250 endpoints across the United States. Jack Smith, the leader of a thirteen-member IT team, encountered significant difficulties with manual processes and disparate management tools, which hindered efficient endpoint management and compliance reporting. The organization previously relied on WSUS for patching, which proved unreliable and time-consuming. To address these issues, Smith implemented NinjaOne, a unified endpoint management solution. The deployment was completed in less than a week, simplifying change management and allowing for automation of manual tasks. As a result, Smith reported a reduction of up to 20 hours per week spent on remediation, enabling him to focus on critical business projects. The transition to NinjaOne also led to a reduction in IT staff from four to one, as the automation capabilities eliminated the need for additional technicians. Enhanced reporting on IT operations has improved visibility for executive leadership regarding endpoint compliance.
