AI Integration Proof of Concept for OTG

This case study outlines the proof of concept (PoC) conducted by Ostfriesische Tee Gesellschaft (OTG) in collaboration with novaCapta, focusing on the integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot within their organization. The objective of the PoC was to assess the tangible value of AI in everyday work while maintaining stringent IT security and data protection standards. Over a compact eight-week period, 25 participants from various business units engaged in structured activities including workshops, deep dives, and practical assignments. The testing aimed to identify relevant use cases and configure the technical framework for secure usage. Key challenges included balancing security settings with functionality, and the PoC provided insights into the prerequisites for effective AI application. The results informed OTG's AI strategy development, establishing methods and formats for future AI initiatives, demonstrating the importance of training and active enablement for employee engagement with AI tools.
