AI Pilot Project Implementation at HÜBNER Group

This case study details the implementation of an AI pilot project at HÜBNER Group, a global system supplier for the mobility sector. The project focused on integrating Microsoft 365 Copilot into the existing infrastructure to enhance productivity and efficiency. The initiative began with the establishment of an AI policy and concept paper, which guided the selection of Copilot as a suitable AI assistant. A three-month pilot phase involved 40 employees from various departments, who participated in envisioning workshops and training sessions to identify potential use cases. Feedback from participants was collected through surveys to assess the effectiveness of Copilot. The results indicated that while Copilot provided significant efficiency improvements for certain roles, its applicability varied among users. The case study emphasizes the importance of training and change management in successfully implementing new technologies, highlighting that understanding and adoption are crucial for long-term success. HÜBNER Group continues to explore further AI implementation scenarios based on the pilot's findings.
