Development of novaAudit PowerCloud Edition

This case study outlines the development of the novaAudit PowerCloud Edition, a cloud-based solution created to replace the previous SharePoint on-prem solution. The new system was designed to be flexible and customizable, allowing for various audit processes without requiring internal programming knowledge. The solution integrates Microsoft Power Apps for application development, Power Automate for automated workflows, Power BI for reporting and analysis, and Microsoft Dataverse for data storage. The project involved collaboration between novaCapta and Bertelsmann, ensuring that best practices were incorporated. The novaAudit PowerCloud Edition allows auditors to access the system from anywhere, providing user-friendly dashboards that display relevant audit information. This flexibility enables users to adapt the auditing process as needed. The case study emphasizes the importance of a user-centric design and the strategic use of Microsoft Cloud technologies to meet high security standards while enhancing usability for auditors.
