WALO Group Workflow Integration Case Study

This case study details the collaboration between WALO Group and novaCapta for the integration of new workflows into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. WALO Group, a family-owned construction business with over 100 years of experience, faced the challenge of replacing outdated Lotus Notes processes due to its end of life. The solution involved implementing three workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate, designed to be scalable and adaptable for future integration with a new ERP system. The project began with a pre-project phase to clarify requirements and assess implementation options. The new workflows, built on SharePoint, eliminated previous media breaks and allowed for seamless access from any device without the need for VPN. An agile methodology based on Scrum was employed, enabling efficient task management and immediate response to optimization opportunities. The successful implementation has led to further engagement for additional Power Platform projects, aiming to digitize more workflow processes.
