This case study details the digital transformation journey of CEMEX University, initiated in 2015, aimed at enhancing employee engagement and skill development. CEMEX, a global building materials company, recognized the need for agility and innovation to meet future customer expectations. The university was established to support this cultural evolution, focusing on creating a digitally enabled learning organization. The initiative began with in-person training for 1,000 learners and evolved to scale to 18,000 online employees. The case study outlines the successful implementation of five academies and over 15 digital learning experiences on the NovoEd Learning Delivery Platform, reaching approximately 13,000 learners by the end of 2018. It emphasizes the importance of learner-centric design and the role of technology in enhancing the learning experience, while also highlighting the collaborative efforts of the CEMEX University team and their partners.
