This case study details the modernization of a credit union's outdated surveillance system to a high-resolution IP solution. The credit union faced challenges due to the existing coaxial infrastructure, which was hidden within the building's three-story structure, making a complete overhaul costly and disruptive. The reseller partner, Securitas Technology, introduced NVT Phybridge's Ethernet over Coax (EoC) innovations, allowing the credit union to utilize its existing infrastructure while upgrading to IP technology. The project resulted in a 60% reduction in network readiness costs and a 75% decrease in deployment time, completing the upgrade in just 32 hours without operational downtime. Additionally, the project demonstrated a commitment to sustainability by minimizing environmental impact through the reuse of existing materials and infrastructure. The new system not only met performance expectations but also prepared the credit union for future expansions, aligning with modern sustainability standards.
